The Hunter’s Inn opened its doors in the heart of Potomac Village in 1978.
An instant success, local papers named Hunter’s “The best place to meet,” “The best place to make a deal” and “The most romantic restaurant.”
Washingtonian Magazine described the burger as one of “Washington’s Best.”
The Hunter’s Inn was reborn in 2002 through the efforts of Washington natives Fred and Murray Berman. The two brothers combined have more than 60 years of restaurant experience. Since they took control over the restaurant’s operations, immediate improvements were made to the quality of food and service. The Hunter’s Inn changed its name to The Hunter’s Bar and Grill in 2014.
Concentrating on fresh fish, quality meats and innovative menu selections as well as large entree salads, pasta, ribs, burgers and good old American comfort food. To compliment the menu, Fred and Murray have expanded and enhanced the wine list, making it one of the most extensive in the Potomac area.
Hunter’s Bar and Grill is considered the “Cheers of Potomac” always a friendly place to meet your friends. It’s a place where families gather for celebrations. Private rooms available, the Margo room holds up to 10 people or the Polo room holds up to 40.
